Meet Carlos, a 1-year-old New Zealand boy with a heartbreaking story. He was part of a group of rabbits dumped outside and targeted by a neighbor with a dart gun who killed every other rabbit in the group. Carlos ended up with a dart through his ear and once we were notified of the situation, a volunteer rescued him and he was rushed straight to our vet to have the dart removed. True to his New Zealand roots, Carlos is sweet as can be, a stunning REW (red eyed white) with a gentle, easygoing nature who just wants a lap to settle into and a person to trust. He is looking for a home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and never have to worry about the world outside again.
