Nutmeg - Netherland Dwarf Rabbit for Adoption in Dallas, Pennsylvania

NUTMEG

Netherland Dwarf
🇺🇸
Dallas, Pennsylvania
July 15th
female, small, adult

DESCRIPTION

Nutmeg is an adorable Netherland Dwarf who's finally learning that hoomans can be loving and trustworthy. She and Sprout were successfully re-bonded, so they must be adopted together.

You see, Nutmeg came to Blue Chip Rabbitat after being rescued from neglect in a hoarding case where she lived in a tiny filthy cage, piled on top of more filth, in a house with many other animals including other rabbits, raccoons, opossums and birds. Instead of cleaning the cages, they were left to literally fill up with excrement until the rabbit could no longer move. And then a new cage was stacked on top and left to continue that cycle. When found, they had barely enough room left in the top cage! Imagine being trapped in that.

These bunnies deserves better! They so deserve a truly loving home where they can finally move around freely, completely relax and live the good life. Won't you welcome these adorable tiny bunnies into your life?

Nutmeg was spayed on 6/10/26.

We are always working with the rabbits to help them find their true bond-bun. They truly thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are sleeping or otherwise occupied. Could your bunny be "THE Bun"? Or would you consider an already bonded pair? Fill out the application and, once approved, we'll schedule a Meet 'n' Greet to see if your household might be a bunderful match.

* Indoor Home Only *

Bunnies live an average of 8-10 years, but could live up to 16 or even longer! While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They need vet visits just like a dog or cat and will require a yearly vaccination against RHDV2. This is a highly contagious and deadly virus.

Please do your research before adding any pet to your family. Visit houserabbit.org and rabbit.org for rabbit care information. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before and after adoption, as well as assist in helping you decide whether bunnies are right for you. We offer ongoing support and encourage ongoing learning to ensure that you and your bunnies thrive for their lifetime.

Please find a place in your heart and home for unwanted, discarded rescue animals. Thank you for adopting, not shopping!
