Must adopt with bond mates, George & Regi

Hello, I’m Mika. It’s lovely to meet you, but I might need a little time to get to know you first. I’m a shy, sweet girl with a curious side, and I like to explore the world at my own pace. I may not rush right up to you the first time we meet, but with a little patience, kindness, and a few tasty snacks, I’ll start to come closer. The way to my heart? You guessed it: treats!

One of my favorite things is sitting in my bunny condo with my little head poking out the door, especially when breakfast or dinner is on its way. After a busy morning of eating and exploring, I enjoy settling in for an afternoon nap. When I’m really comfortable, I stretch right out into a bunny sploot. And if you listen closely, you might even hear my gentle little snores. A girl needs her beauty sleep!

I’m a pretty relaxed bunny who enjoys lounging in my cozy space and nibbling on my timothy hut. I’m not the type to demand attention every minute of the day, but once I learn to trust you, I have a softer side to share. Offer me some gentle head scratches, and I may dip my head down and melt into the floor. It takes time to earn that privilege, but I think you’ll find it worth the wait.

My routine includes muching mountains of hay all day, fresh greens in the morning, time to explore, cozy naps, dinner, and evening treats. I’m a fan of blueberries, bananas, cilantro, kale, and apple-and-banana treats. I’m also a tidy girl who does very well with my litter box. I even enjoy having a separate digging box of my own!

But there’s something even more important to me than my favorite snacks and afternoon naps: my brothers, Reggie and George. They’re my best friends, and I’m the little bit of calm that helps keep our trio in balance. I need them just as much as they need me, so we must find a forever home together. I may be a little reserved with humans at first, but I’m completely at home with my boys.

If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and room in your home for three wonderful bunnies, I’d love the chance to get to know you. Give me time to settle in, let me approach you when I’m ready, and maybe keep a blueberry handy. We could become very good friends.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
