DESCRIPTION
Meet Wooly Mammoth! Wooly's was brought to us after a group of at least 25 rabbits were living in poor, neglected conditions and abandoned outdoors inside a trailer park. The team of field rabbit rescuers we able to catch only 2 of the buns and Wooly Mammoth was one of the lucky ones to make it to safety. He is still growing out his soiled and matted coat but his future is now looking bright!
Wooly is a roughly 2 year old lionhead rabbit and is small sized at about 2-3 pounds. He loves attention and pets, exploring and playing. He has a couple battle scars (eyelid and mouth) from his former life living in a large group of territorial rabbits which are fully healed. Although his past life involved fighting with other rabbits, he is very interested in making true friendships and would love to bond with a spayed/vaccinated rabbit who is also looking for a friend! His ideal home would be a large pen enclosure with the ability to free roam in a rabbit-proofed room/home for most of the time. He is getting very good with his litter box now that he is neutered! Due to his longer fur, he requires regular brushing and grooming by either an experienced rabbit person or someone willing to learn.
Wooly's adoption fee includes RHDV2 vaccination, microchip and neuter surgery. Please fill out our adoption questionnaire if you'd like to meet Wooly or any of our rabbits :)
