Oak Park, Illinois
October 28th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Meet Mirah! Mirah is a 2-year old lionhead/English spot/hotot rabbit (English spot mom and harlequin lionhead dad) that was part of a litter of 9 that came to our shelter when they were 10 days old. Mirah and her siblings were born 4/22/24 after someone irresponsibly bred her mom and dad.
Mirah was adopted in March 2025 but recently returned because she ended up not being able to bond with their rabbit. While I think she could have a male rabbit friend in her future, Mirah has proven to be an independent spirit for now!
Mirah is obviously a gorgeous girl but on the inside, she is is silly, sweet, mischievous, smart, social and curious. She is food motivated and has excellent litter box habits. At about 3 pounds, she is a small bun and is full grown.
Mirah is looking for a quiet, rabbit-proofed home where she is mostly free to roaming or housed in a double pen. She does not love to be held but will tolerate it when held gently and infrequently. She is social with her humans and will climb on them to investigate and ask for pets and of course snacks! Her adoption fee includes RHDV2 vaccination, microchip and spay surgery. Please contact us for more information on Mirah!
