Originally bought from a breeder, these 2 were thought to be sisters. When their current owner decided the buns needed a new home with more space to offer, Bunny Buddies got involved to make sure they weren't separated at a local shelter, or similar... and it could not have worked out better for these 2!
As it turns out, they were males, and little Paste was actually cryptorchid. Our friends at Animal Medical Center of the Village were able to resolve the issue and successfuly neuter both boys.
Once recovered, we made sure the buns had some supervised re-introductions — but they could not have been sweeter with each other. Instant cuddling and mutual grooming... so this pair of teddy bears is really meant to be.
Litter habits are good, but be sure to keep their box tidy or they will find another place to go. Copy has longer hair, and it's more coarse, so he needs a little extra brushing to avoid matting. Paste is happy to help a bit, of course! Both boys have good appetites and are very treat motivated: they beg for a snack often, but will graciously allow some petting in exchange.
They are very curious, and would do best with a larger space to explore in addition to the enclosure, but have not been destructive in their area so far.
