Melodie - Hotot Rabbit for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

Melodie is a beautiful 6.5 year old Hotot with perfect eyeliner, adorable little black "barrettes" on her head, swirly ears, and a lot of opinions. She is smart, sassy, vocal, curious, and quite capable of letting you know exactly how she feels. With her friends, she goes by Mel. And Mel is rather selective about who gets to be her friend.

Mel is actually an RA alum, but changes in her adopter's circumstances brought Melodie back to Rabbit Advocates, so she will likely need a chance to build up trust again. She does have the capacity to form a strong relationship - with her foster mom, Mel is engaged, interactive, communicative, and remarkably comfortable.

Mel is best suited for an adult-only household who has experience with rabbits. She is curious about other bunnies and might like to make another bunny friend. She has made it clear, though, that she deserves free reign of the whole house (her words, not mine).
