Darya and Brownie are both around 6 or 7 years old, and they are a wonderful bonded pair who are ready to find a family willing to give them the time they deserve.
Darya's story is one of resilience. She was rescued from a neglect situation in January 2024, where she was living outdoors in a plywood box on bare dirt with her babies and had very little human interaction. Since then, she's made incredible progress!
Brownie is a sweet, gentle rabbit who may be a little shy at first, but he has a loving personality that shines through once he feels safe. With patience and kindness, Brownie will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a soft-hearted friend.
Both Darya and Brownie are naturally timid rabbits and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. It may take several months for them to fully settle in, but once they do, they're incredibly rewarding companions who will happily climb onto your lap and enjoy spending time with you.
These two love being active together, whether they're racing around, hopping onto the couch, or curling up side by side for a nap. They especially enjoy banana and freeze-dried strawberries, and Darya will gladly accept gentle pets while enjoying her favorite treats!
Their previous home allowed them to free roam in a spare bedroom as they both really thrive with room to explore. If you're looking for a pair who simply need a little patience to let their personalities shine, Darya and Brownie could be the perfect addition to your family!
