Colin is a 4-year-old English Spot who came to us after a concerned citizen emailed us about a stray rabbit with an injured leg, and we found him living under a shed. We don't know how Colin ended up there. Maybe his leg was broken and his family left him outside, or maybe he hurt it while living on his own. Either way, he's been through a lot, and he's still a very sweet boy.
Our rescue vet found heavy callus buildup on Colin's right elbow, which points to an old fracture. The injury has since calcified, and it gives him a funny quirk: his arm sticks out like he's offering you a high five! It doesn't slow him down or limit him in any way. Colin is a quiet sweetheart with a low-key personality. He loves being held and snuggled, and he's very clean, too. If you're looking for a mellow companion who will happily settle into your lap, Colin is your guy!
