Jellybean has an amazing story. We rescued 15 rabbits from an Inland Empire neighborhood in July of 2025 under challenging circumstances. Jellybean was one we thought didn't survive as she was the last bun and we just couldn't find her after multiple drives to the rescue site.
Miraculously, a good Samaritan from that neighborhood contacted us in June of 2026 saying she found her way into her yard along with a few baby buns (Gumdrop and Skittles). Anyway, we believe someone in the neighborhood was harboring her for the year until she became too much work and again released her! Ugh!
Anyway, we are relieved that she actually survived the year and didn't succumb to a coyote or hawk attack.
Despite her traumatic past, she is as sweet as can be! She is currently sharing living quarters with her two offspring. She can be adopted as a single or with her offspring.
This girl will never be scrounging for food again or finding herself on the streets again! Nope, no way!
She is incredibly calm, gentle and loving. She may just be your perfect pal! Hop to it and inquire about her today!
Jellybean was spayed on June 11, 2026 She was born on approximately June 1, 2025. She weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces.
Jellybean should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!)

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.
Jellybean can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.
PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
