Penelope - English Spot Rabbit for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire
PENELOPE
English Spot
🇺🇸
Bedford, New Hampshire
June 16th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Penelope's former owners said she was a cuddly, sweet girl, but she's nervous here at the shelter, so she's shown us more of her bold and bossy side (which we do love).
Penelope is slightly stressed at the shelter due to the busy environment. She's never been a fan of strangers, plus we spayed her (which she didn't love!), but she's also shown she is a confident, go-getter. If you have lettuce, she's the first bunny to the side of her pen to let you know that, in fact, that lettuce should be hers.
Staff has yet to see her cuddly side, but we know her former owner was able to hold her and snuggled her often! She's a "hospice" adoption due to her age and that her uterus had cancer when it was removed during her spay (we hope all the cancer was removed, but, of course, cannot be certain).
If you're interested in pretty Penelope, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to schedule an appointment.
