Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire
PAUL MITCHELL
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Bedford, New Hampshire
June 2nd
male, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Paul Mitchell here has two names! One just wasn't enough for this boy. He's small but he has big personality.
Paul is sadly a "hospice adoption" due to his advanced age of 13 (which is an estimate) and his heart murmur, along with some other potential issues that showed up in bloodwork.
He came into the shelter as a stray, and we named him Paul Mitchell because he has beautiful white wavy hair, which must have been shaved at one point or another because it was longer in the front, shorter in the back. Everyone at the shelter loves him because he's a funny boy.
Paul is a quirky little guy. He's a bit of a barker, if there are other dogs or cars around while he's on a walk (just something to know). Any potential adopter would need to be prepared for grooming due to his hair type. They'd also want to be prepared to manage his health situation to ensure he's cared for and comfortable for the rest of his life, however long. He's looking for a home with adults and no other animals.
If you're interested in Paul Mitchell, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 to schedule an appointment!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
