Meet Newaygo!



When I picked her up, I knew she needed help, so I took her straight to the ER vet.



She had bot fly larvae under both eyes, and both areas were badly infected. She could barely see, and she was understandably uncomfortable. The larvae were removed, and with antibiotics and pain medication, she began to heal.



But Newaygo wasn't quite done with her medical journey. We later discovered another bot fly larvae in her abdomen. Unfortunately, that wound just wasn't healing. So...back to the vet we went! And wouldn't you know it—there was ANOTHER larvae hiding in the exact same hole!



Once that was finally removed, Newaygo made an amazing turnaround. She has healed beautifully and is now ready to put all of that behind her and start the next chapter of her life.



Because of everything she has been through—including lots of treatments, medications, and handling—Newaygo can be a little shy at first. But once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines through!



She is an energetic, friendly little lady who is ready for someone to show her that life can be about so much more than vet visits. She deserves a loving forever home where she can relax, feel safe, and just be a bunny.

Our adoption fee is $120 for a single and $180 for a bonded pair. All adoptions are subject to approval and acceptance of terms. Not all persons will be approved. Upon approval a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for adoption commitments before a rabbit will be held.

You will need to have the housing area all set up and ready for the rabbit to move in.
