Meet Michelle!
Michelle is a sweet little rabbit with a big love for treats, a growing appreciation for human affection, and quite the story to tell!
Before coming to Sanctuary One, Michelle was found abandoned at a baseball field, where someone was thankfully able to catch her and bring her to safety. She arrived very frightened and heavily pregnant, understandably unsure of the people around her. Since then, she's raised her babies, been spayed, and discovered that life with caring humans can actually be pretty wonderful!
While Michelle is still a little shy, she's made tremendous progress in learning to trust people. She's becoming more comfortable approaching the front of her enclosure to greet visitors, especially when there might be something tasty involved! She also enjoys sitting in people's laps and soaking up some gentle attention once she's feeling comfortable.
These days, Michelle is a happy, healthy girl who seems to appreciate the little things in life: a cozy place to relax, delicious treats, and kind people willing to give her affection at her own pace.
We're hoping to find Michelle a loving home where she can continue building confidence, enjoy plenty of enrichment and room to explore, and receive all the care and attention she deserves. She's already shown us what a wonderful companion she can be, and we think she'll bring a lot of sweetness to the right family!
After everything she's been through, Michelle is ready for her next chapter — one filled with comfort, kindness, and maybe just a few extra treats!
