Meet Mittens!! (case #12256)
Looking for a soft, sweet companion to brighten your home? Meet Mittens, an approximately 2-year-old female rabbit with a gentle personality and a curious little spirit. This lovely girl enjoys exploring her surroundings, hopping around with confidence, and relaxing nearby once she’s satisfied her curiosity.
Mittens is friendly, calm, and easygoing — the kind of bunny who enjoys being part of the household without demanding constant attention. She would love a home where she can safely roam, stretch her legs, and enjoy plenty of enrichment, cozy hideouts, and tasty greens.
Like many rabbits, Mittens has her playful moments and her quiet moments too. You might catch her doing happy little hops (“binkies!”) when she’s excited, or flopping over dramatically for a nap after an adventure around the room.
A Few Things About Rabbits as Pets
Rabbits make wonderful companions for the right home! They are intelligent, social animals that can form strong bonds with people. Rabbits:
Thrive with daily exercise and space to explore
Enjoy toys, tunnels, and enrichment activities
Need a diet mainly made up of hay, plus fresh greens and pellets
Can be litter trained surprisingly well
Prefer gentle handling and calm environments
Often live 8–12 years with proper care
Mittens would do best with a family ready to give her patience, love, and a safe indoor home where her sweet personality can continue to blossom.
If you’re searching for a calm and adorable bunny companion with soft paws and an even softer heart, Mittens may be the perfect match for you. Please complete an adoption application:
