Meet Mora!

Mora is an approximately 4-year-old Yorkie mix with the absolute sweetest little soul. She's a quiet girl who hardly ever barks and is happiest cuddled up next to her person.

Mora loves short walks, car rides, and simply being wherever her people are. She knows her name and comes when called, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Cats aren't an issue for her either!

Mora's story didn't start out the way she deserved. She was found wandering a neighborhood extremely matted and painfully skinny. Neighbors had seen her out there for months, but sadly, no one stepped in to help. Finally, a kind woman posted about her on Nextdoor, and we were able to go out and trap her.

Her fur was in such terrible condition that she had to be completely shaved down. But that was the beginning of Mora's new life.

Since coming into foster care, Mora has blossomed. Her beautiful fur has grown back, she's gained much-needed weight, and most importantly, she's learned what it feels like to be safe and loved.

After everything she's been through, Mora doesn't ask for much. She just wants a forever family to love... and a family who will love her right back.
