HOMER - Yorkshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Tucson, Arizona

HOMER is a 7 lb Senior, Yorkie, Smalle Terrier mix. He was brought into Humane Society as a stray, already neutered and barely weighing in at 6 lbs. He has put on about a pound since he came into RoRescue.

HEALTH: We had his teeth cleaned and he lost several. Getting rid of those rotten teeth has improved his appetite and he is a HAPPY BOY. His blood test came back normal.

PERSONALITY: HOMER is a sweet soul and wants nothing more than gently massages while cuddlling on the sofa watching old movies. He must have been neutered as a puppy because he does not lift his leg to pee. He is mostly housetrained, but no guarantees. He is OK with short quiet strolls around the neighborhood.

FOOD: Rorescue always feeds high quality Senior food and vitamin supplements to their senior dogs. He is being fed BilJac for Seniors.

We are looking for an adopter who will be gentle with Homer and has a secure yard where his outside time is closely monitored. NO DOGGIE DOORS.
