Michi - Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Taunton, Massachusetts

Michi is a 4 year old female Yorkie who weighs 9lbs.
Michi is looking for a new home due to a new baby in the house according to her owners: Michi has become "overprotective of our newborn daughter". She becomes anxious and barks at us when the baby is picked up or handled. We have tried multiple training tactics to help adjust this behavior but she has become too difficult to manage and we cannot keep her due to the possibility that she will become more aggressive. We love Michi but she would thrive better in a home without any small babies or toddlers

They further say that Michi has a wonderful personality. She is loyal, playful and does great with other small dogs (especially yorkies). She becomes a bit shy and submissive around bigger dogs but has not shown any aggressive behavior when playing. She is active and likes taking walks and playing fetch but she also loves snuggling and relaxing on the couch with her family . She is very food motivated and is very receptive to training. She is both house and crate trained and will wait at the door to tell you it’s time for her to go potty. She has not tried to run away or escape but she will chase after small animals and rodents if she is not leashed.
