Odie - Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption

Odie is an 8-year-old, 10 lb. Georgia Gentleman being fostered in Milledgeville, GA. MEET ODIE A SWEET ADORABLE GEORGIA GENTLEMAN!

Odie came to UYR through a sister rescue that had been contacted to help him but, unfortunately, had nowhere for him to go. Thankfully, our recent plea for GEORGIA FOSTER HOMES brought us a wonderful new fosterand Odie became the lucky first guest!

Odies story before arriving at UYR makes us especially glad hes here. His most recent owner had gotten him from someone else and kept him for less than a week. The reason he had to go? His breath smelled bad.

For something as fixable as badly neglected teeth, Odie found himself needing yet another home.

We dont know how many changes this sweet boy has experienced, but being passed from person to person has to be confusing and frightening for any dog.
That stops NOW. Odie is officially a UYR boy, and were going to make sure he gets the careand the chance at a forever familyhe deserves.

Hes only just arrived, but so far Odie is as sweet as a Georgia peach! He was an absolute gentleman during his multi-leg transport to his foster home and is already making friends with his new Shih Tzu buddies.

Now its time to get Odie feeling his best. He desperately needs a dental, along with all the veterinary basics that have apparently been missed along the way: vaccinations, fecal testing, heartworm testing, bloodwork and a microchip.

Odie didnt deserve to lose a home because he needed dental care. He deserved someone willing to GET him that dental care.
