Midge - Yorkshire Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in North Charleston, South Carolina

Meet Midge

This tiny little lady is ready to trade life as a stray for the soft, spoiled retirement she deserves.

Midge is around 6 years old and only 13 pounds. She was found as a stray and came to us looking a little rough around the edges - she's definitely in need of a good spa day and fresh haircut - but underneath all that scruff is the sweetest little girl.

Midge can be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her some time to feel safe and her incredibly loving personality starts to come through. She's gentle, easygoing, affectionate, and seems perfectly content with the simple things in life.

She isn't asking for much. A cozy bed, a quiet home, someone to snuggle with, and maybe a wardrobe of tiny sweaters once she gets that much-needed haircut.

We think Midge would absolutely thrive in a calm, quieter home where she can spend her retirement years being loved and spoiled the way she deserves. She doesn't need a life full of chaos and adventure - she's ready for slow mornings, comfy blankets, afternoon naps, and a person to call her own.

At only 13 pounds, she's the perfect little companion to curl up beside you and enjoy the good life.

Midge spent part of her life as a stray.

We're determined to make sure the rest of it is spent knowing exactly what it feels like to be home.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
