Patches - Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in North Canton, Ohio

Patches is a 10-year-old chocolate Yorkie with a huge heart packed into one adorable little body. He came to Pawsitive Hope after the elderly mother of one of our fosters sadly passed away, leaving Patches in need of a new place to call home.

Patches is the definition of a Velcro dog. This sweet boy absolutely adores his person and would happily spend 24/7 right by their side. If you're looking for a devoted little companion who wants to be part of everything you do, Patches may be your guy! With his affectionate, people-oriented personality, we think he could also make a wonderful emotional support companion.

He is great with other dogs and has done well with children and babies. His experience with cats is currently unknown. Patches loves going for car rides in his little car basket and is a wonderful companion to take along on adventures. He behaves very well when out and about, walks nicely on a leash, isn't a big barker, and is even a good boy for the groomer.

Patches is about 90% housebroken and will use a puppy pad when needed, including occasionally overnight. Like many little dogs, he knows he's small and will move quickly out of the way if he thinks he might get stepped on!

Patches is fully vetted, and when he came into our care we discovered that he had dental disease. Pawsitive Hope is taking care of his dental procedure so he can head into his next chapter feeling his very best.

After losing the person he knew and loved, Patches is ready to find someone new to attach his little heart to. He has so much love and companionship to give and would thrive with someone looking for a loyal, affectionate little shadow to share their life with.
