Lucy is a beautiful, scruffy, almost one-year-old sweetheart who truly has never met a stranger. Her happy personality and calm, gentle nature make her an instant friend to everyone she meets.

Lucy is currently thriving in foster care and has proven to be a wonderful companion. She is potty trained, keeps her crate clean, and does great with a regular potty schedule. She gets along well with other dogs but would not mind being her person's only dog. While she hasn't lived with cats or children in foster care, she is very friendly when children approach her on walks. Like many young dogs, she can get a little jumpy when she's excited to say hello, but it's all out of pure happiness and affection.

One of Lucy's favorite things in the world is cuddling. At bedtime, she would be happiest snuggled right up next to her person. She loves being close and will gladly spend every moment curled up beside you. She's also discovering how much fun toys can be and is learning to play more every day.
