Meet Simon ❤️
Simon is a 10-year-young Yorkshire Terrier mix looking for a patient and loving forever home through Prairie Paws Rescue. This tiny guy weighs only about 5.5 pounds and came to us through the city pound after being found as a stray. Sadly, no one came looking for him.
Simon is currently settling into foster care and learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Because he can be a little nippy when he feels unsure or scared, he would do best in a quieter home without young children. His foster family is working hard on house training, crate training, and helping him feel more comfortable socializing.
When Simon arrived, his teeth were in very poor condition. He has since had a dental cleaning along with several tooth extractions and is feeling much better.
As with many Yorkie mixes, Simon will need regular grooming every few months to keep his coat healthy and free from matting, so adopters should be prepared for those ongoing expenses.
Simon may need a little extra patience and understanding, but underneath it all is a little dog who deserves safety, love, and a second chance.
All medical work is completed prior to adoption including neuter shots worming flea treatment rabies shot kennel cough micro chip dental cleaning and vet examination.
Adoption fee is $200 +tax with an approved application.
