Hi, I'm Bear...and I'm ready to find my safe, happy forever home. I'm a tiny little boy who just wants to be your shadow. I love SNUGGLING up close, giving sweet KISSES, and relaxing beside you while we watch TV. Just look at my little eyes looking at you. I'm PLAYFUL too but my favorite place is right next to my person. I just want to feel safe, loved and part of your world.

Bear is a miniature Yorkshire Terrier with a GENTLE, LOVING personality who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He is about 90% potty trained and continues to do well with consistency and routine. He is crate trained though he would much prefer being out with his people--He is truly a VELCRO DOG who just wants to be near you.

Bear previously lived in a home with a young child and unfortunately had some negative experiences that have left him fearful of small children. Because of this, he will need a home without young kids where he can feel secure and relaxed. *Note* the box is checked yes good with kids, but they need to be OLDER MATURE CHILDREN and RESPECTFUL of dogs/animals.

He does well with cats and other dogs and enjoys playtime but he's just as happy curling for a cozy evening. Bear would be an ideal companion for a retired individual or couple, or someone who is home often and looking for a LOYAL sidekick. He also makes a wonderful TRAVEL companion thanks to his small size and easygoing nature and of course he also loves to ride.
