Hi, I'm Phineas, a three year old little pup with a heart that is so much bigger than my first impression. I was found as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came looking for me. I may have started out alone, but I'm hoping thats not how my story ends.
I'll be honest—I'm a little shy when we first meet. New people and new surroundings can make me want to hang back and quietly take everything in. But if you're patient with me and give me a little time to feel safe, you'll get to see the real me come out. And once I open up? Oh, do I have love to give. I'm incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when I'm close to my person. In fact, if I had it my way, I'd spend my days curled up in your lap, soaking up cuddles and reminding you that you have your very own little shadow. My dream isnt complicated—I just want to be loved, feel safe, and have someone I can call my own.

I'm also wonderful with other dogs, and I'd love to have a canine friend in my forever home. I do best with older, respectful kids who understand that sometimes a shy little guy like me needs a little space to warm up. I may not be the dog who runs up and steals the spotlight right away. I'm the dog who quietly works his way into your heart—and once I'm there, I'm staying. Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!
