Arkie came to GreenePets Foster Network on February 23, 2026 when his owner was unable to keep him because of landlord restrictions. Since then, this little guy has grown up around the kennels and turned into one seriously fun dog.

Arkie is a high-energy little scamp who loves being outside, exploring, running and being part of whatever is happening. One of his standout qualities is his excellent recall—when Arkie is called, he pays attention and comes running. For a young dog with this much enthusiasm for life, that's a pretty terrific foundation.

He is bright, energetic, people-oriented and ready for someone who will actually enjoy having a lively little dog around.

Arkie is not completely house trained yet, so his adopter needs to be willing to finish the job. The good news? He loves going outdoors and is very willing to learn. With a consistent schedule, supervision and positive reinforcement, he has all the ingredients to get there.

This isn't a little dog looking to spend his entire life decorating a sofa. Arkie wants adventures, training, playtime, outdoor time and his own person.
