Meet Cesar!

Cesar is just over a year old and just over 11lbs and, obviously, he's a handsome devil. We don't need to point that out but we're going to anyway just to make sure you noticed. The ears. The smile. Even that judgmental stare is adorable.

Cesar came to us as an owner surrender and one thing that came up several times is that Cesar LOVES kids. He lived with four kids and he was absolutely fantastic with them. We would, obviously, prefer children that have lived with dogs before and know dog manners because Cesar, like a typical yorkie, isn't a fan of having his paws or his face touched but he didn't progress to snapping - just (very talented) evasive maneuvers.

He has done well with other dogs here though is understandably wary of dogs a lot bigger than he is...which is most of them. Again, not snappy or defensive, just evasive maneuvers. He doesn't seem to have any idea what a cat is or what the purpose of one is but dog-friendly cats should be fine.

Cesar is a little shy at first but warms up quickly, especially if toys or a walk are involved. He's mostly good on the leash but does tend to zigzag through your legs - he's a young guy with a lot of energy and there are a lot of new things to explore!

He will need regular grooming and coat maintenance to keep him looking dapper ✨
