DESCRIPTION
Little Maxim is searching for the right place to help his sensitive little soul feel safe. We're looking for a patient, understanding foster or adopter who can help him build confidence, learn to trust, and discover that the world isn't such a scary place.
Maxim came from a hoarding situation, where he and five other dogs were surrendered before making their way to separate homes.
He's a very timid little guy who needs time to warm up to both people and other dogs. New experiences can be overwhelming for him, so he'll need slow, thoughtful introductions and a calm, predictable environment where he can learn at his own pace.
With patience, kindness, and consistency, Maxim has every chance to blossom into the happy, confident dog he's meant to be. We feel Maxim would benefit being in a foster home with a larger, more confident dog to show him the ropes and be his mentor.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
