1 year old male Terrier, about 14 pounds. Jaxston and Hutchins were found stray in Enumclaw. We believe they are brothers. Jax is sweet and friendly. He gets along well with other dogs, does well in his crate and is good on a leash. He has picked up on potty training very quickly. He loves to eat and is very food motivated. Jax would do well in a home without young children. He is not aggressive, but he is a bit skittish and gets stressed when there are unexpected noises or too much kid energy going on. Jax would be fine in an apartment. He would be fine as an only dog or with other dog friends in the home. To request an adoption application, email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com

Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit.
