This cutie pie is Smokie, a 6.5-year-old Yorkie/Dachshund. He is as sweet as he is handsome, and he is looking for his forever home. You can't see it in the photo, but he has heterochromia - one eye is brown and blue and the other eye is solid blue! He walks well on the leash, doesn't mind being crated at times, and has lived with children and other dogs. Smokie is a social boy and enjoys meeting new people. We all know no one can be perfect, and the one thing keeping Smokie from being doggy perfection is the fact that he often goes potty inside without shame. That is a behavior that can often be minimized with training, though. Smokie is currently in a foster home, so call the shelter today to set up an appointment to meet this adorable little guy!
