Myrtle - AK - Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Bryan, Texas

At just 3.5 pounds, Myrtle is basically a tiny Yorkie-shaped request to be held.

This sweet senior girl has three legs, but don't tell Myrtle she's supposed to be slowed down by that. She gets around remarkably well and has figured out her own little system for potty time too. Her foster keeps a pee pad by the door, and if they don't quite make it outside in time, Myrtle makes it to the pad every time. Smart girl!

But Myrtle's true calling in life is much simpler: being held. Her foster says that if Myrtle could be held against someone's heart 24/7, she'd be on cloud nine. She's happiest tucked into your arms, soaking up all the closeness she can get.

Myrtle and another Yorkie originally arrived at a shelter as strays, and no owner ever came looking for them. We don't know how Myrtle lost her leg or much about the life she had before, but at this point, we're far more interested in what comes next.

At 3.5 pounds, she won't take up much room in your house.
