4.8 pound Slide is the sweetest girl and loves to sit in your lap! She is one of our adorable Playground Puppies!

Slide is a 4 and 1/2 month old Biewer Terrier who recently joined our rescue along with five littermates: Teeter, Totter, Pogo, Swing, and Marbles.

These tiny pups are as sweet as they are beautiful!

When they joined our rescue, they were covered in urine, feces and who knows what else.... and they desperately needed some TLC.

Their beautiful, fine Biewer Terrier coats were dirty, tangled and starting to mat.

They were bathed and groomed and thankfully did great for their grooming. Their beautiful silky coats will grow back out quickly, and before long they will look like fluffy little Biewer Terriers again.

Biewer Terriers are a toy breed that generally reach their adult size around 6-8 months of age and typically weigh about 4-8 pounds when fully grown.

At 18 weeks old, these puppies are already well on their way to their adult size, although they will continue to grow and fill out over the next few months.

In just a few days, they became so relaxed, playful and comfortable in our foster home. They love to romp, explore, play with toys and, of course, enjoy plenty of puppy naps once the zoomies are over.

Biewer Terriers are a small toy breed known for their cheerful personalities and love of their people. Because of their coat, they will need regular brushing and professional grooming every 4-6 weeks throughout their lives.

Pogo received a comprehensive wellness exam and distemper parvo and rabies vaccine at her first appointment. She is also microchipped, has been dewormed multiple times and had a parasite screening. All the pups received a perfect report at their vet appointment.

Our $350 puppy adoption fee includes her spay and the remainder of her puppy vaccine boosters at your choice of one of our vet partner hospitals.

Our adopters may choose from 11 partner veterinary hospitals for those remaining services, with locations in:

At adoption, we send the appropriate records and information to the selected veterinary partner, and the remaining rescue-covered services are billed directly to Vintage Racers for Rescues.

We are still getting to know each of the Playground Puppies individually, so more personality details will be added soon!
