Met Spike, an adorable 3 month old, 7 lb Yorkie mix. He's as cute as he can be and has a sweet, playful personality. His favorite place to relax is his cozy dog bed, where he loves to curl up after a day of fun. Spike is currently working on housetraining and making great progress every day. When he's feeling playful, nothing makes him happier than chasing his ball and showing off his energetic side. Spike is looking for a loving family that will continue helping him learn and grow, while giving him plenty of cuddles, playtime, and a comfy bed to call his own. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
