🐾 Meet Kevin 🐾

It’s Kevin’s time to shine—and trust us, this little guy has earned it.

Kevin is a 2-year-old Yorkie mix weighing in at about 12 lbs. After everything he’s been through, he’s ready to trade survival mode for the good life—and he’s already got a taste for it.

Kevin is crate trained and will do his business outside as long as you take him out regularly and stay with him. Because of his past, he does have a fear of being outdoors. The world was not kind to him out there, so he much prefers the safety and comfort of inside living—and honestly, we don’t blame him.

Personality-wise, Kevin is more of a “cat in a dog’s body.” He’s not overly snuggly, but he loves being near his person—just quietly existing in the same space. He’s independent, low-drama, and appreciates the finer things in life… like AC, a soft couch, and a cozy bed (preferably yours).

He enjoys playing with dogs his size, does well on leash, and is great in the car. He’s also very food motivated, which makes bonding and routine easier. Best of all—he’s non-destructive and respectful in the home.

When Kevin was found, he had no hair and severe double cherry eye. Both eyes were surgically corrected, though one did return—which can happen. The good news: it does not bother him, requires no extra care, and he produces normal tears, so no further intervention is needed.

His coat is coming back in beautifully, and as it continues to grow, he will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.

Kevin isn’t the kind of dog that’s going to demand constant attention—but he is the kind that will quietly become your little shadow, your calm presence, your “he’s always right there” companion.

Adoption Info:
All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.
Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following:
All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation.
All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations.
All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention.
Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
