DESCRIPTION
Sweet little Layla an almost 10 yr old 8lb Yorkie girl has had at least 3 different homes in her life. No dog deserves that. When you apply with us or any rescue for that matter you should take seriously your commitment for the life of the dog. I know things happen but the decision to give up Layla was purely selfish. Honestly I dont comprehend that kind of mentality. I moved from Pittsburgh to Charlotte 25 yrs ago with a fish tank full of fish, 3 zebra finches in a cage, 2 cats in carriers and a dog all packed into a conversion van with five kids! Not once did it cross my mind to leave any one behind, not even the fish! But I digress, here we have sweet Layla wondering once again why someone abandoned her. Layla takes one med for pancreatic insufficiency to help form her stools otherwise shes a seemingly healthy sweet devoted loving little girl. Shes now joined my geriatric room with my 22 yr old papillons, Mr bojangles, and Mrs Peepers, all awaiting foster homes and adopters.
