Meet Gigi

Gigi is a happy, energetic 1 year old pup who is ready to find a family to call her own!

She absolutely loves other dogs, and we think having a canine companion would be a wonderful outlet for her playful energy. She also loves being close to her people and tends to stick right by your side. While we adore her affectionate nature, another dog in the home may help her become a little more independent.

Gigi has had limited experience around children, but we think shed do well with respectful kids. Because she gets excited and is still learning not to jump when greeting people, shed probably be the best fit for a home with older children. Shes making great progress with her manners, but little ones could accidentally get knocked over by her enthusiasm.

This girl loves her walks! She currently enjoys two walks a day. She can be a strong leash puller, but shes learning quickly with a front-clip harness and is already showing improvement.

And when its time to play...watch out! Gigi can run like the wind. Whether shes chasing a ball or simply sprinting for the pure joy of it, shes a beautiful sight to see. A securely fenced yard where she can stretch those legs would be a dream come true.

As for cats, Gigi isnt aggressive—shes just a little too enthusiastic. She doesnt seem to understand when a cat has had enough, even after hisses, swats, and the occasional nip. A cat-free home, or one with a very confident, dog-savvy cat, would likely be the best match.

Gigi currently sleeps in her kennel at night and stays kenneled when her foster family is away. Shes adjusted well to the routine, though her forever family can decide what works best for them.
