Primrose is a beautiful female yellow Lab puppy, currently weighing 18- 20 lbs and is about 16–17 weeks old, with a bright future ahead of her. She and her sister, Henrietta, were rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where more than 60 dogs were living in filthy conditions without enough food. Primrose arrived in terrible shape and had been chewed on by other dogs. She was frightened and timid, but with gentle care, she has blossomed and opened up so much.

Now she’s showing us the playful puppy she’s meant to be! Primrose is good with children and is learning to walk on a leash, taking small strides every day. She’s doing well with crate training, with only an occasional accident—just what you’d expect from a baby puppy.

New situations can still make her freeze up, and transport or a new home may feel scary at first. She’ll need a patient, loving person who will give her time to settle in and let her sweet personality shine. With that kind of care, Primrose can keep growing in confidence just as she has with us.

Primrose is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and has not been spayed yet. She’s hoping to make her way to Canada, just like her sister Henrietta.

This precious girl is a typical playful Lab puppy—beautiful, loving, and ready for a brighter chapter.
