Meet Bartholomew!

Bartholomew is a one-year-old, 40-pound Lab mix who has a whole lot of love to give. He's happy, outgoing, playful, and absolutely convinced that there is no such thing as too much affection.

This boy loves other dogs and would really enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home. He loves to play, wrestle, and hang out with his foster brothers. But don't let all that playfulness fool you. Bartholomew is also quite the cuddle bug. As you can see in his photos, snuggling up with his foster brothers is high on his list of favorite activities. Apparently, being 40 pounds doesn't mean he can't be a lap dog!

Bartholomew loves people and is always happy to see them. He's an enthusiastic guy whose tail is almost always in motion. Personal space isn't exactly his specialty, but he makes up for it with affection and a genuine love for everyone around him.

He is housetrained and can be left loose in his foster home while his foster mom is at work. His leash manners still need work, so he'll need someone willing to help him learn that walking politely is a team activity, not a race to see what happens next.

A physically fenced yard is required so he has a safe place to run and play.

Bartholomew would love an active home with another friendly, playful dog to keep him company. He needs someone who appreciates a dog with plenty of personality, enjoys a good game of chase, and doesn't mind sharing the couch with a furry cuddle enthusiast.

We're not sure why this handsome, affectionate boy hasn't caught anyone's attention yet, but we'd really love to change that.

Bartholomew is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
