SLIM JIM - Yellow Labrador Retriever and Corgi Dog for Adoption in Joshua Tree, California

Oh, we LOVE a Corgi mix, and you truly have to see Slim to believe the cuteness.

Slim was found as a stray in Twentynine Palms and was brought in by animal control on 6/17. Sadly, no one ever came to reclaim him. Shelter life has been overwhelming for this little guy, and hes been pretty shut down and guarded in his kennel.

But today? Today we got to see the real Slim.

He spent some time in the office and absolutely blossomed. The shy little dog wed been seeing started to relax, explore, and show off his sweet personality. It was such a good reminder that some dogs just need a little time, a little patience, and a quiet place to feel safe.

Slim is adorable, gentle, and slowly learning that people can be pretty great. We have a feeling his best days are still ahead of him!
