MEECHUM - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Foxfield, Colorado

**MEET MEECHUM!**

Meet 39 pounds of pure JOY disguised as a handsome, approximately one-year-old yellow Labrador mix!

Meechum came within HOURS of euthanasia at an Oklahoma shelter. Today, he's making up for lost time by enthusiastically participating in absolutely EVERYTHING his foster family does.

This ridiculously affectionate, wicked-smart boy adores people, loves school-aged kids, and even rocked a birthday party with over 20 children plus adults! He's potty trained according to his foster mom, uses the doggie door, is crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and already knows sit, stay, shake, down, and heel.

His hobbies include fetch, squeaky squirrels, car rides, family activities, and occasionally using his genius-level problem-solving skills for unauthorized household renovations.

Meechum has moderate-to-high energy, but he also loves settling in with his people. His dream home would include family adventures, continued training, lots of affection, and preferably someone who appreciates a 39-pound pogo stick still perfecting his greeting etiquette. He could be happy as an only dog or potentially with a compatible playful canine friend!
