Introducing Foxy! This beautiful girl has a WHOLE lot of love to give and she’s totally ready to become the most important member of your family.

Foxy came to our rescue after being found a stray. It was very clear that she lived a rough life, suffering from mange and missing large sections of fur. After treatment and lots of TLC from her foster mom, she healed up nicely and started to show us her sweet, silly personality. She is estimated 1 year old and only 40 lbs.

Foxy’s most favorite thing on earth is human attention, giving hugs, and getting pets. She adores humans. She’s the absolute BEST couch snuggle buddy. Foxy has been to outdoor malls and restaurants and does extremely well.

This girl is also an all-star athlete. She lives for the great outdoors! She walks great on a leash with the gentle leader. She would be thrilled in a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play to her heart’s content. Foxy also enjoys splashing around in water and tanning on the pool’s edge. She’s an excellent fetcher and loves all types of stuffie toys and chew bones.

Inside a home, she is 100% potty-trained. She has never had a single accident. Because she loves humans so very much, she can struggle with some separation anxiety. She does not like being crated, but is in the process of learning to use a play pen when she is home alone. She has been through a specialized training program for her anxiety and her adopter will receive continued support. On the says that she goes to work with her foster mom, she contently snoozes on a bed next to the desk.

Foxy is dog social and does best with slow, calm introductions to other dogs. She gets along best with friendly dogs who understand her endless, young dog energy. She is a big player and sometimes doesn’t know when to stop, but she is learning.

Foxy is intrigued by outdoor cats on walks, but could potentially cohabitate with a patient, understanding cat that will allow her to slowly get to know them.
