Helga is a gentle, loving girl with a calm presence and a heart full of devotion. She’s incredibly affectionate and happiest when she’s close to her people—curled up beside you on the couch, resting her head in your lap, or quietly following you from room to room.

At around 45 lbs, she’s the perfect size for a true snuggle buddy.

Helga is also a beautiful little tripod, living her life confidently on three legs. It doesn’t slow her down—it just adds to her charm and resilience, making her all the more special.

She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and just wants to be part of your everyday life.

She’s sweet, intuitive, and very people-oriented. Helga loves meeting new people and is wonderful with kids. She greets everyone with warmth and happily soaks up attention. She can live with other dogs with proper introductions.

Helga enjoys peaceful neighborhood walks, especially during cooler mornings and evenings, and loves spending time in grassy areas, parks, or at the beach (with shade). In warmer weather, she prefers to take things slow and will need breaks to cool down.

At home, she’s an easy, well-mannered companion. She is potty trained, does not need to be crated, and thrives in a calm environment. She loves soft blankets, her bed as a safe space, and being close to her person. She also enjoys playing tug-of-war and appreciates a little shredded chicken with her meals.

Helga would do best in a home where she has regular companionship and can give and receive love every day. She’s a loyal, gentle soul who will make a deeply devoted companion.
