Wirehaired Terrier and Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption

Lola is the whole package! She is so cute, is spunky, smiles, is playful with other dogs, and is a very sweet girl. She is around 1-2 years old and around 12-14lbs. She was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue. She has a fun energy, is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention and playing with toys!!
Lola’s bio:
-age appropriate energy, is happy go lucky, loves to be held and also mellows out nicely, moderate, medium energy
-great with other dogs in her foster home
-likes to be around people
-working on potty training and is doing well in her foster’s routine
-is working on leash training
-does well in her crate or gated area and will need continued work in a new setting / transition
-enjoys toys, treats and chew bones
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard, likes to explore
-will make a great companion, and a great walking/adventure/car ride buddy to a lucky family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did well for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives
***Will need routine yearly grooming so a potential adopter with an established grooming reference is preferred
