Meet Rudy – Your Little Underdog with a Big Heart ❤️ Rudy is currently fostered in Texas and will be transported to his new family when adopted.

Rudy may be small, but his story — and his personality — are anything but. This sweet boy had a rough start when he and his sister were abandoned outside a small Texas town just before Christmas. Thankfully, a kind couple stepped in to keep them safe until a rescue could take over.

Now Rudy is ready for his happy ending… could it be with you?

This adorable Chihuahua/Terrier mix will steal your heart instantly — especially with that irresistible underbite that gives him so much character. He’s playful, curious, and impressively smart. In fact, he already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning (especially if treats are involved!).

Rudy is a well-mannered little guy who:
• Does well with cats
• Loves people and attention
• Isn’t overly barky (he prefers a polite little whine when he needs something!)
He’s the perfect mix of fun and affection — ready to play when you are, and just as ready to be your cuddle buddy at the end of the day.

After everything he’s been through, Rudy is more than ready to find a loving, forever home where he’ll never be left behind again.

For out-of-state adoptions:
The PFR adoption fee is $500 (this includes transport). The fee also includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, parvo/distemper, and Bordetella), flea and tick prevention, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and registered microchip.

He is available through Levelland Animal Friends and would be transported with Project Freedom Ride. He is located with our rescue here in the Texas Panhandle.

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (usually through Facetime or other video formats). The adoption agreements and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
