Meet Jinkins!

Jinkins is an 8-month-old wire haired pointing griffin and poodle mix. He is a total sweetheart with a gentle, affectionate personality. He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and loves to snuggle, be petted, and follow his people everywhere—he's a true shadow dog!

He's doing great with potty training and hasn't had any accidents in foster care. While he doesn't love going into his crate, he settles in well, sleeps through the night, and is very well-behaved once inside.

Jinkins gets along great with his foster dog brother and plays nicely. He hasn't been tested with cats or children yet, but his gentle nature is very promising.

Like any young puppy, Jinkins is still working on not jumping up on people when he gets excited. He's also learning that the world isn't always a scary place, so he'll thrive with a patient family who can continue building his confidence through positive experiences.

He was recently shaved after arriving with a matted coat, but he'll have a beautiful medium-to-long coat once it grows back. He also doesn't seem to shed much, if at all. Jinkins is looking for a loving family who will give him a little time to build confidence. In return, you'll have a loyal best friend who just wants to be by your side.
