Cody is an 7yr old Wirehair Dachshund.
He is a retired AKC show dog!
Cody came into rescue when his owner became ill and couldn't care for him any longer.
Cody can be a dominate male and has had some fights with other boys. He is also not a good fit with smaller senior dogs. He has had a previous eye injury but we don’t foresee any medical problems going forward.

Cody is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, has had dental, heart worm negative and has a Proheart6 injection for prevention.


Cody is fairly laid-back, loves to play ball and chase toys.
