Meet Pippi – A Little Puppy with a Big Heart
9-month-old Wire Fox Terrier • Spayed Female • Poynette, Wisconsin
Pippi is a vibrant, spirited puppy with a massive personality and an even bigger heart. Smart, snuggly, and bursting with energy, she brings joy to everyone she meets, and she's ready to bring it to a family of her very own.
About Pippi:
- Clever, affectionate, and full of puppy fun
- Plays hard and loves a good snuggle afterward
- Spayed and up to date on vaccines
- Paper trained and ready to learn housetraining with a family that can give her focused attention
- Would thrive with a big dog brother to look up to
Her special needs:
Pippi was born with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a congenital heart defect. She manages it with propranolol, a very inexpensive daily medication. She has almost no limits on play, but she can sometimes get out of breath, so she needs someone who will keep an eye on her and call a time-out when she needs one.
While her condition carries a short statistical life expectancy, nobody has told Pippi. She is a joyful puppy focused entirely on living her absolute best life today, and she's looking for someone who will help her do just that.
The right home for Pippi:
Pippi needs a safe environment, a family comfortable with her daily medication and with watching her during play, and the patience to help her finish housetraining. Most of all, she needs people with big hearts who will give this extraordinary girl the wonderful life she deserves, however long that may be.
