Meet Harrison!

Harrison is a great dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This friendly guy absolutely loves people and is known for giving the best hugs-he's always happy to lean in close and soak up some affection.

Harrison recently enjoyed a lovely walk along the river at John Duerr Forest Preserve, where he had a great time taking in all the sights and smells. He's a strong boy and can pull a bit on the leash at first, but once he gets some of that initial excitement out, he settles down nicely and enjoys the stroll. With a little continued practice, he'll make a wonderful walking buddy.

He's also a fantastic travel companion! Harrison does great in the car and was more than happy to celebrate his outing with a delicious pup cup afterward.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
