LUCIA - Whippet Dog for Adoption in Fuquay-varina, North Carolina

Meet Lucia: Speed, Grace, and a Whole Lot of Personality!

If there were an Olympic event for dogs, Lucia would be bringing home the gold. In true Whippet fashion, this girl is lightning-fast, incredibly athletic, and can easily outrun and out-jump just about any dog around.

Lucia would be an outstanding candidate for dock diving, agility, lure coursing, or any activity that lets her show off her speed and athleticism. She loves to run, play, and stay active, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an energetic lifestyle.

Lucia returned to our rescue after struggling to share her home with another dog. While some dogs enjoy having canine roommates, Lucia has made it clear that she prefers to be the star of the show. She's a diva in the best possible way and would love a home where she can be the one and only queen, soaking up all the attention, love, and spoiling she deserves.

If you've ever wanted a dog that can keep up with your adventures, turn heads at the dog park, and make every day a little more exciting, Lucia may be your perfect match.

Lucia does well with children but would be best suited for a home with kids ages 12 and older who can respect her space and energy level.
