Reggie is a 2-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix weighing about 43 pounds, and this boy is pure sunshine wrapped up in scruffy fur. With his constant smile, playful personality, and endless charm, it’s nearly impossible not to fall in love with him.
Reggie absolutely loves to play and enjoys being part of whatever is going on around him. Whether it’s hanging out with people, romping around with other dogs, or soaking up attention from kids, he’s happiest when he’s included in the fun.
He’s great with dogs, kids, and cats, making him an easy fit for many different homes. He also walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world with his people.
Reggie came to rescue because he ended up being a little too much dog for his senior owner, who has become much less active over time. This adventurous guy kept sneaking out to visit the neighborhood and quickly became everyone’s favorite local pup. Wanting to make sure he stayed safe and had the active life he deserves, she made the difficult but loving decision to let him find a home better suited for him.
And honestly? Reggie is thriving. He’s playful, affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. Add in his adorable scruffy look and “scruffalofagous” charm, and you’ve got one unforgettable dog.
He’s also been an absolute gentleman in the home and hasn’t had a single accident indoors.

Reggie’s adoption fee is $450, which is tax-deductible. To apply to adopt Reggie, please send an email with the subject line “Reggie”. He will go home with a collar and leash, two food bowls, some food, treats, a toy, and all medical and microchip information to help make his transition to his forever home smooth and easy.
